Technical Sales Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
Develop new business and increases sales volumes within existing customers and potential customers.
Coordinate and manage sales activities such as cold-calling, meeting, presentation and related matter.
Demonstrate our product or equipment capability to customers
Provide technical advice and support to customers in quality assurance for products rendered.
Follow up customer evaluation and technical procurement specification review.
Attend to customers queries and provide appropriate solutions.
Determine client needs, spec out complex technical systems and ensure pricing meets both company profit margin and client’s budget.
Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, scheduling, performance and technical requirements.
Involved throughout the delivery and installation process.
Any other task assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Degree in Life Sciences/Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline
At least 2 years’ experience of successfully selling analytical instruments in the Singapore market and/or experience managing customers from academic institutions, government agencies, and chemical industries will be an advantage but not necessary.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with laboratory managers, professors, PHD level scientists and technicians.
Experience working with any established CRM systems will be an advantage.
Occasional travel should be expected for training and business meetings.
